Sunday service online
There will be no in-house services until further notice. Instead, we will stream the services live from Pastor Bruce’s home Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. Watch online at www.hisplaceTV.com
Free food boxes October 31st
We will be distributing free food boxes on Saturday, October 31st starting at 12:00 noon, in the church parking lot. As part of the USDA Farmers to Families program, these boxes are available to all the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Spread the word!
If you can help on Saturday, or for more information, please call Pastor Nick at 360-840-7939 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is still on track for 2020! You and your family can share the love and hope of Jesus with a needy child by participating in this year’s Operation Christmas Child! Volunteers from this mission project will deliver your shoebox of gifts to a child in need, somewhere around the world, along with Christian literature in his or her own language.
Free shoeboxes and labels will be handed out via curbside pickup at the front doors (facing Burlington Blvd.) on Sundays (only) between 11:30 and 2:30 pm November 1st, 8th, and 15th.
Purchase gifts for your Christmas Child and pack your shoeboxes according to the included instructions. Then during collection week (November 16-23), bring your “boxes of blessings” to the church.
You can include a $9 donation in your shoebox to help with shipping costs. Or, if you donate online, you can activate your Follow Your Box adhesive label to find out the country where it will be delivered.

Hi, I’m Pastor Bruce.
Welcome to His Place, where the worship is heartfelt, the message is straightforward, and the children are given high priority. And please, just call me Bruce (after all, I don’t refer to you as Plumber Bill).
At His Place we appreciate authenticity, and treasure transparency. We’re real people, in a real world, serving a real God. That means we aim for a balanced mixture of lighthearted self-awareness and thoughtful God-awareness.
Have you ever felt “out of place” when faced with outmoded musical instruments, arcane religious jargon, and inexplicable rituals? I have, too. We’ve replaced those would-be barriers with culturally-relevant music, language, and traditions.
Oh, and visitors are always welcome to investigate our beliefs, patterns, and practices, in the pursuit of truth. So, whether you’re a spiritual seeker or a committed Christian, you’ve come to the right place … a fun place to get serious about God!
Please look around and get to know us … I’ll stay here and greet our next guest. And by the way, I’m glad you stopped by!
