His
Place missionaries Jay and Faith TenBrink
work with Alternative
Missions to minister to the Cora Indians
in and around Cofradia, Mexico.
Recently, the TenBrinks have been working
every week in the Cora Indian village of
Mojocuautla. From the very beginning, they
started to see a harvest. The people of
Mojocuautla are hearing the Gospel and responding! |

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest
is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the
harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
- Matthew 9:37-38 (NIV)

A message from the Tenbrinks:
From October 28th until November 5th, a team
of 20 people from His Place invaded Horacio and Maria’s
house in Arrayanes. Horacio, the pastor of the church in Arrayanes,
lives (or should I say lived) in his two room home with his
wife Maria, his sons Martin, Ruben, and Alfredo, and his daughter
Kenia.

The team came to add two bedrooms on to their
humble abode. In their short stay, they laid the foundation,
raised the walls and poured the concrete roof. It was a huge
job!

We really enjoyed being with this team. Their
love for Horacio and his family was beautiful. For all of
you who were in that team and those who gave so that they
could come; we want to say “thank you”, you were
a great blessing to us and to the Christians here.
