KOZ: Kids Outdoor Zone, is an outdoor adventure group for boys ages 8-18 meeting on the 4th Saturday of every month at 9:00 am in the Boat Shed and returning at 2:00 pm. They take on challenging and informative outdoor activities that get the boys away from their computer games, and into real life.
“We Do Hard Things”: Hiking, fishing, biking, campouts, tubing, and kayaking. They will be mentored in outdoor skills by the KOZ leaders and other volunteers. They will be given a view of Christ, and what it means to be a Christian boy, a young man, in our world today. This group is for boys without dads and boys with dads. Fathers and grandpas are welcome to join us.
Everything, including lunch is provided. Jim McClellan, JJ Pierce, and Lynn Boeding have been involved with KOZ for four years, and going on five. If this is something you think your boys would be interested in being involved with, or would like more information, contact Jim McClellan.
